I’m sorry my posts are so late this week — I’m out of town and my schedule is crazy! Next week should be back to normal.

Today, I’m going to talk to you about making time to write. I’m bad at it, I know. I had planned to add to my manuscript every single day during the month of July, and I’ve done so a total of three days. Three. Sixteen days have come and gone this month, and I always seem too busy to write.

Don’t do that. It’s dangerous. And if you’re anything like me, you miss writing. A lot. I know I do. I love to add to my manuscript, and I just haven’t had time to do so. You know why I haven’t had time? I haven’t made time in my crazy busy schedule. Sure, I started a new job, seem to be going somewhere every single day, I go out of town, and I have to chase down my niece next weekend, but shouldn’t I at least try to make a little bit of time? Yes, I should. You should too. It’s a miracle what kind of time you find you have if you just make sure you slot out a certain amount of time. For me, it’s an hour that I would like to have, but I would be happy if I just had ten minutes. At least I’m adding something.

I know, I haven’t written in almost a week on that, but I will as soon as I get home — promise!

As always, keep the faith, writers. I believe in you all.
