Today, I’m going to talk about a subject I’ve touched on before, but there are still people out there who don’t get it. It’s time for a full on rant.

You’re a writer, correct? You want to write. You’re so eager to get your book done, but what happens? You don’t have time, right? Wrong. You do have time. You make time. If you really want to get it done, you will make time.

I don’t have a lot of extra time to write. Let me just throw that out there. I’m a college student and work 24 hours a week. That may not sound like a lot, but when you just want to stay hidden behind your laptop the entire time, it is. I manage to make time. I take a 15-30 minute break in between homework subjects to write. You may not have school, but you can still make time at work. There is such thing as a lunch break.

Now, the other thing is, you might have kids. I get that. Trust me, when my niece is over, I barely get time. You know what, though? There’s nap time and bed time. I know, you’re tired. Too bad. If you want to get any writing done that day, do it then.

Don’t even talk to me if you claim you don’t have time. There’s always time throughout the day. You just have to find it. Even if you can only squeeze in five minutes, it’s still time. Get writing, everyone. If you have time to read this, you have time to write. Stop complaining. Start writing.
